Science Center
Ferrodrom®
In October 2006, Hüttinger was awarded the contract for the conceptual
design, planning and fabrication of exhibits for the internal
fitting-out of the Ferrodrom® Science Centre in Völklinger Hütte.
It enhances its efforts to become an interactive informal learning
experience themed around the elements fire, water, earth and air.
Exciting hands-on exhibits help visitors to understand the processes of
the past, by allowing them to make the same observations that guided
early iron makers. The exhibition was opened to the public on 1st April
2007 at the opening of the season.
