Taggenbrunn Castle is the setting for half a dozen technically innovative art objects staged with effective light and sound concepts in the multimedia show Zeiträume (lit. Time periods), curated by André Heller. For Zeiträume we were contracted to develop and fabricate what is currently the world's largest walk-in kaleidoscope.In the middle of the 4.6 m x 3.8 m kaleidoscope, one is surrounded by a wild, psychedelic sequence of colours, shapes and reflections that disappear and regroup in the blink of an eye: a symbol of the changes that happen in every moment. André Heller himself sees the kaleidoscope as a mixture of a meditative cell, a miracle machine and an electronic magic box: a magical "world turned upside down".
