In December 2004, having taken part in an international call for tenders, Hüttinger Exhibition Engineering in Schwaig near Nuremberg was awarded the contract for the conceptual design, engineering and fabrication of exhibits for an interactive, mobile Science Show. The exhibits will be installed in an articulated truck, which is why the exhibits must be robust and easy to install. The Science Truck is designed as a mobile learning laboratory for 12 to 15-year-old children. The truck is going to stop off at Belgium’s schools as an informal place for learning and is intended to support teenagers, introducing them to science and technology. Under the supervision of an edutainer, pupils in groups of 3-4 must pass different interactive stations. Based on a question-and-answer game, points are collected and, when all statations have been passed through, added up and the results evaluated.
