Hüttinger teamed up with Audi to develop and fabricate a cutaway model of the new A4 saloon to be presented at the IAA 2007. Its benefits are displayed by means of a cutaway model of an original body shell increased precision, better handling and improved road-holding thanks to the enhanced rigidity of the chassis, the all-wheel drive and the 5-link axles. For the purpose of showing the four-wheel drive and in order to ensure the optimum view of the 5-link front and rear axles, sections of the floor pan, the wings and the side panels were built as cutaway-models.
