In December 2004, we were awarded the design and build contract for the new interactive information center at Böttstein nuclear power plant: Axporama. The following summer, Hüttinger was awarded the contract to carry out the complete construction of the exhibition. What is shown are the advantages and disadvantages of the various ways of energy production using a dialogue-oriented way of communicating information built on a playfully designed experience dramaturgy. But primarily, the new center should be a place for public debate and exchange of controversial ideas about energy consumption and supply of the future. The Axporama visitor center is a great experience for adults and children alike, companies, schools and clubs. In this fascinating world of electricity visitors learn about energy in a fun and interactive way. The exciting exhibition “Living with Energy” offers a wealth of interesting information and entertainment.
