Brand House and Foyer

The German building society’s “Markenhaus” (Brand House) is an experience centre for 20,000 people who visit the head office annually. Covering an area of 60 square metres, the Brand House includes a kitchen, a dining room and a living room. The aim is to make the complex knowledge of the building society’s brand comprehensible and to communicate it in the long run. The panel with the brand history puts the visitors in the right mood for the topic. A quiz induces the visitors to concern themselves with the brand in a playful manner. In addition, information is given on the history of the company brand. The brand values of the building society are deepened in the living room of brand identity. A bonsai tree, for instance, symbolizes the company’s deep roots in the region, while binoculars offer a view of the foreign markets. In a small kitchen, the visitors can find out of which ingredients go into making a successful brand experience, and the Window of Visions, on the other hand, shows life concepts for the future. The newly designed foyer of the head office now welcomes the visitor with an area near the entrance that is designed as an island. Hüttinger developed and built this interactive exhibition.
