Hüttinger was awarded the contract for the design and construction of the special exhibit Continental Powertrain in June 2011. Presented in a stylized car, visitors can compare the components petrol, diesel and hybrid-electric propulsion systems on three levels. Touch screens offer information about the mode of operation and the interaction of the propulsion systems as well as the individual products. The exhibit is designed in such a way that its components can be replaced effortlessly, such as for the presentation of newly developed products, and quickly adapted for the presentations on the monitor. The exhibit was used for the first time in the context of the IAA 2011.
