In December 2006 Hüttinger was commissioned to develop and fabricate a true-to-scale landscape model to be presented at the Haus am Strom (lit. House on the Great River) near Passau. The topographically shaped relief model on a scale of 1:35,000 shows the geographical characteristics of the Passau Danube Valley from Hofkirchen in Bavaria to Aschach an der Donau in Upper Austria. Tourist attractions such as vantage points, ship landing stages or hiking car parks are marked with light points and can be selected via a control panel. Individual natural highlights are made visible with fibre optic technology and can also be controlled via the control panel.
