In March 2011, Hüttinger was awarded the contract to develop the conceptual design and design and build the ŠKODA AUTOLAB - Innovative Safety Centre. It is the first of its kind in Poland, a high-tech and, at the same time, family-oriented mobile safety exhibition.
The aim of the AUTOLAB is to increase road safety and reduce the number of road accidents by introducing automotive education in the broadest sense. It is an exciting, contemporary, informal learning space, full of hands-on exhibits, showing how contemporary car safety systems work. Designed as a mobile exhibition, the ŠKODA AUTOLAB will be set up in spherical tents and on show in four Polish cities within the next two years. It was officially opened to the public in Poznan, the first station on its country-wide tour.
