On May 2011, in the context of an international tender, Hüttinger was awarded the contract for developing the concept and fabrication of interactive exhibition elements as an addition to the permanent exhibition The World and I. This gallery is one of the five exhibition sections which were renewed and modernized after more than 10 years’ service of Le Vaisseau. In February 2012, The World and I was officially opened to the public in the presence of the General council of the Bas-Rhin Department.
