In winter 2004, after having taken part in a world-wide tender, Hüttinger, along with its partner Dr. Peter Anderson, was awarded the contract to design and build the exhibitions forthe Communications Museum of Macau. The contract  included also the operational planning of the museum and the creation of a Website that is conceptually linked with the contents and exhibits of the exhibitions of the museum. Finally, the museum was opened officially to the public on Ist March 2006 by the chief executive Edmund Ho of the Macau Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.
