LEONiQ makes energy and data flows more efficient, secure and available, it can record and evaluate such differing parameters as temperature and mechanical wear along almost any given cable system.
Leoni presented this technology to the public at the Microsoft stand at the Hanover Fair and IFA 2018 in Berlin. At the interactive charging station for e-vehicles, the intelligent cable displays its current status via integrated light lines. Overheating is displayed in red, while green is the normal state. The cable can be filmed with a thermal camera and the condition can be observed. Hüttinger designed, developed and manufactured the LEONiQ electric filling station.
