In May 2012, Hüttinger was awarded the contract for the master plan, schematic design, detailed design and fabrication of the Creation and Experience gallery within the LSTM in Shenyang, which was opened to the public in 2014.
Within the same year we were contracted again. We were entrusted with the conceptual design, development and fabrication of Open Spaces and Excitement within the 1st floor of the museum. Visitors are now welcomed to play and discover within this area, on a total floor space of 500 sqm, equipped with 37 interactives and hands-ons. Moreover, brand new center piece of the museum‘s foyer is now a giant Kinetic Sculpture of 13 meters in diameter, slowly rotating on the ceiling.
