Museu da Imagem e do Som do Ceará (Museum of Image and Sound in Ceará), which had been closed for renovations since the beginning of 2018, has now reopened. The restored museum building and the new MIS building are home to more than 160k collection items (records, photos, films, VHS and DVDs) as well as conservation and sanitisation laboratories, digital scanning and restoration laboratories, a photo laboratory, spaces for research and cataloguing, audio and audio mixing studios, restoration studios, video studios, editing area and several exhibitions and educational spaces with interactive exhibits. We designed and manufactured the hands-ons for the museum.
