The SPACE exhibition covers more than 600 sqm floor space and focuses on all the aspects of outer space, from the fantasy musings of the Baroque age to the ambivalent development of space travel in the 20th century and the visionary ideas of the present. Historical artefactss from the museums’ collection are arranged in contrast with state-of-the-art research. The interactive exhibits invite to get to grips with the theory of space travel, but also to focus close-up on the achievements of one of the world’s most thrilling sciences.
