In spring 2002 Hüttinger was awarded the contract for designing and fabricating the exhibits and lighting systems for the six floors of the Tower of the Senses Museum. The Tower of the Senses is the first hands-on museum for experiencing one’s own five senses in Nuremberg. The target group are young people from the age of 14 upwards as well as all everyone interested in illusions. With its specific didactic concept, which offers access to scientific and cultural questions, the Tower of the Senses sees itself as a museum that dispels the fear of embarking on something new and makes you adopt a more critical way of thinking. A fascinating selection of objects to touch related to the topic ‘Perception’ is presented on six floors.
